Team Profiles

The Catchpole Racing Team represents a combination of management, racing driver talent, engineering expertise and professional presentation, all in an environment that is fiercely competitive, yet fun at the same time.

The Team's people continuously strive to excel in their respective fields, whether it is the drivers on the track, the crew in the pits, or the promotion girls in the paddock.

Phil Weaver - Driver and Team Principal

Phil has been competing at the front of the grid for over twenty (20) years, and has been highly competitive in sports racing cars before making his mark in the 'Days of Thunder' series. His characteristic enthusiasm and drive has seen Team catchpole become one of the most professionally run teams.

Chris Hart - Spotter

Chris is the Team's Spotter, and it is his job to see the driver is made aware of what is going on around him. He stands high up in the grandstand and is linked to the driver and the team by two-way radio. The cars have little or no rear vision and very little side vision, so Chris is constantly ensuring that the car is in the the right position on the track to take advantage of any given situation, and of course, to warn of any potential trouble ahead.

The Catchpole Girls

The team takes great responsibility to maximise the support of the audience, build and maintain productive relationships with the TV crews, and look after its sponsors and VIP guests.

It is dedicated work and it all come down to the enthusiastic commitment of the Catchpole Girls. They drum up support at the start of a race, help the team take advantage of photo and TV opportunities as they arise, and monitor all Team Catchpole guests to make sure they are enjoying their motor sport experience to the fullest.
